PROJECT 03 : WIND FARM
Wind energy is a renewable energy that does not require any fuel, does not create greenhouse gases, produces no toxic or radioactive waste. By fighting against climate change, wind energy contributes in the long term to maintaining the biodiversity of natural environments.
Wind energy produces wind electricity: without degrading the quality of the air, without polluting the water (no discharge into the aquatic environment, no thermal pollution), without polluting the soil (neither soot nor ash) .
When large wind farms are installed on farmland, only about 2% of the soil is required for wind turbines. The remaining area is available for farming, livestock and other uses.
